आनंदमठ (बंकिम चंद्र) Anandmath Novel By Bankim Chandra

आनंदमठ :
सन १८८२ में प्रकाशित बंकिम चंद्र चटोपाध्याय द्वारा लिखित यह उपन्यास भारतीय इतिहास के उन दुर्लभ दस्तावेजोंमें से एक है जिन्होंने समाज को एक नई दिशा देने का काम किया। इस उपन्यास को सन्यासी आन्दोलन और बंगाल अकाल की छाया में लिखा गया है।

भारत का राष्ट्रीय गीत वंदे मातरम इसी उपन्यास से लिया गया है।

यह पुस्तक हर भारतीय को जरूर पढ़नी चाहिए ।

1917 में लिखा गया यह उपन्यास शरत चंद्र की कलम से निकला हुआ एक महान उपन्यास है । प्रेम और त्याग की भावना के प्रतीक इस उपन्यास की लोकप्रियता का अंदाजा इसी बात से लगाया जा सकता है कि इस उपन्यास पर अब तक तीन फिल्में बन चुकी है।

Mahadevi Verma(1907-1987), a famous Hindi poet and writer, was born in 1907, in Farrukhabad in a family of lawyers।

Mahadevi Verma is regarded as one of the four pillars of Chhayavadi School of Hindi literature. Chandrakanta is a popular Hindi novel by Devki Nandan Khatri. It is considered to be the first work of prose in the modern Hindi language, and may have significantly contributed to the language's popularity.

Chandrakanta is notable for introducing the concepts of "Aiyyar" and "Tilism" to Hindi literature.

An Aiyyar (male) or Aiyyara (female) is a Spy , in the service of a king, who specializes in making disguises. The Aiyyar can make his face resemble any person, or sometimes an animal, using special makeup. He generally captures a target and imprisons him, then impersonates the prisoner while furthering his or the king's own cause.

A Tilism is a kind of Maze many secret locations, passages and prisons. It is intended to be "broken", or deciphered, by a person; once broken, all its doors are opened and all its prisoners are released. The person who successfully breaks the Tilism also gains the immense treasures hidden within it.

The novel depicts a number of friendly and unfriendly Aiyyar।
